Grandmaster Knight

There are two attack stats: strength (str) and chakra control (CC).

Strength determines how much damage is done using such moves, for example a punch from someone with Basic Str will do low worth of damage if the attack connects. If a nintai attack is used, the damag will be added with Jutsu Power.

Basic:Strikes causes very light bruising if at all, low level knock back (<1ft).
Adept:Strike cause light bruising and slight soreness in the hit area, direct hits can knock down opponents.
Elite: Strikes cause deeper bruising, hits cause tears in skin, can break cartilage and cause minor fractures in bone with repeated hits to the same area.
Master:Direct hits cause severe topical bruising, sustained force (such as a tight grip) can cause a major fracture in bone.

Perception is the stat that affects how well your senses work. Reaction time quickens your reflexes while Perception enhances how well you can sense things happening around you. Perception allows you to more easily see quick opponents, help see through Genjutsu and detect hidden or sneaky opponents. It also affects how well you can smell or hear things.

Basic: Average human level senses, minor sensory imperfections but not hindering.
Adept:Ninja at this level can 8 m/s Dash / 15 m/s sprint.
Elite:Ninja at this level can 12 m/s Dash / 25 m/s sprint.
Master:Ninja at this level can 15 m/s Dash / 35 m/s sprint.

There are two defensive stats: speed (spd) and endurance (end).

A player must have the minimum speed for their rank in order to react to an attack, and their speed must be very close to or greater than the opponent's to hit in order for a dodge attempt to be partially or completely successful.
Basic: Ninja at this level can 5 m/s Dash / 10 m/s sprint.
Adept:Ninja at this level can 8 m/s Dash / 15 m/s sprint.
Elite:Ninja at this level can 12 m/s Dash / 25 m/s sprint.
Master:Ninja at this level can 15 m/s Dash / 35 m/s sprint.

Endurance determines approximately how much damage a player can take and how long a player can fight before they become tired. A player has roughly 8 * End of damage taking capacity, however this is subject to some stipulations.

The chakra levels stat (CL)

This stat determines how much chakra a user has at their disposal during a fight/misison/thread. The CL stat is converted into a chakra pool called "chakra points" or CP at a rate of: 5 x CL + 10 x (number of RUs).

CP is used to power techniques such as ninjutsu, nintaijutsu, stat boosts, defensive barriers, etc. etc. In essence, CP is required for most jutsu and abilities on TNW and determines how much damage is done. For example, a ninjutsu with 20 CP behind it will do 20 CP of damage.

In the world of Naruto, different people tend to have different skills within combat, which in result, adds diversity within villages and the ninja world. Depending on their own personal preference, they can go from mastering different styles or, just focusing on one set style that works for them. Nonetheless, there are eight combat styles which a shinobi can pick from; each style having its own advantage and its own weakness.

List of Combat Styles:

Taijutsu: Taijutsu is a basic form of techniques and refers to any techniques involving the martial arts or the optimisation of natural human abilities. Taijutsu is executed by directly accessing the user's physical and mental energies, relying on the stamina and strength gained through training.

Ninjutsu: Ninjutsu is a term referring to almost any technique which allows the user to do something that they otherwise would be incapable of doing, including the usage of weapons. Unlike genjutsu, which makes the opponent see illusions, the effects of ninjutsu are real.

Genjutsu: Genjutsu are techniques that are employed in the same fashion as ninjutsu, requiring chakra and hand seals. However, the primary difference between the two is that the effects of genjutsu are illusory; instead of attacking the victim's body, like taijutsu or ninjutsu, genjutsu techniques manipulate the flow of chakra in the victim's brain, thus causing a disruption in their senses.

Each set ninja/combat style has a certain level, which depicts how good a shinobi is with the said skill. On Naruto Nexus, there are three levels: basic, adept, and mastery. Clearly, when one reaches the highest level - they are depicted as a master of the said style and have reached the top. Some can stay with just that one style they have mastered, or can learn more styles on the way; the decision is up to them.

Basic: Having a basic level within a combat style, clearly indicates that you are no where close to mastery. Shinobi of this stature can only do the simplest things when at this level; proving to be absolutely no threat to anyone. They most likely never truly trained with the art, or, is just beginning to learn the fundamentals - to then master it. Nonetheless, this is the bottom of the three step ladder, which is at the bottom for a reason.

Adept: At this level, one has gained a higher level of understanding the said style. Certain bonuses are unlocked, which, actually can give you a bit of an edge in battle against your target. This level of skill indicates that the said shinobi, has indeed taken the time to perfect their art, hone their skills, and be that much closer of becoming a master. It should be clear that adept shinobi are better than basic shinobi.

Mastery: Finally, you have mastered your said combat style - knowing everything there is to know about the set skill. Only those who possess this same level of mastery can match you. Not only that, the benefits at this level of skill - are indeed greater than what they were previously. Focusing on one combat style and reaching this level is rewarding. But, at the same time, if you focus on just one skill might be unfavorable for you as one could use their variety to easily overcome your mastery in just one combat style.

Basic Skill Points
On Naruto Nexus, everyone starts with a couple of basic skills, or maybe just one. From there they can continue to improve their skill, and continue to grow as a shinobi. What you do and which combat styles you get is something that you must decide and nobody can make that decision for you as you are the one who knows which skills suit them the most.

Caster Magic: (キャスターマジック Kyasutā Majikku) is Magic that is expelled from the body as opposed to Magic done through the use of a weapon or outside source.

No skill: Not having any skill in this area, limits a shinobi greatly. They are only capable of of using E and D-Rank techniques, which, are just basically kicking and punching techniques; the basics. If they wish to learn more of the higher leveled Taijutsu techniques, one has to be within the basic level.

Basic: At basic level, once can learn: E, D, and C-Rank Taijutsu techniques. Showing great promise in Taijutsu, these shinobi are quicker than the average.(+5 m/s faster) In close combat, they can prevent people from finishing handseals, unless they have basic Ninjutsu skills. Strikes causes moderate bruising, direct hits can tear the skin, or may wind an opponent if hit in the right area.

Adept: Those of adept level can learn Taijutsu techniques of all ranks, including the powerful S-Rank techniques (Hachimon, Kinjutsu). At this level they gain something new, which is the ability to unlock some of the Chakra Gates. Their punches and kicks, can crush rock which are the same weight as them. Taijutsu up to B-Rank cost half of the original chakra payment.

Mastery: A Taijutsu master is highly advanced with anything pertaining to the physical arts. have impressive strength; being able to crush rocks that are two times their weight; even capable of denting iron with enough force. At this level, Taijutsu up to B-Rank only cost 1/4 of the original chakra payment. Taijutsu higher (A-Rank, S-Rank) cost half the chakra amount that is needed.

The Lycans are one of the many species on Earthland. However, they have always been even fewer in number than the Vampires and lacked their mind control ability. Because they could not wipe human memories they had to hide themselves very carefully. Often times they are feared, usually due to the mystery surrounding them, and the power they possess. Despite some animalistic qualities, they can blend in with humanity with relative ease.

In oppose to many different beings, Lycans are relatively the same as humans. However, they have taken a strong sense of pride like a wolf. They are warriors, prideful to the end and always striving to improve their own power. Lycans can choose when to transform and when to change back. Their transformations are not a full body change. Rather, their body takes on more of the characteristics of a wolf, while maintaining a human form. 

Lycans are warlike and have superior physical powers compared to many races. They often become renowned warriors, passionate leaders and dedicated subordinates. They are not stupid. They understand the fear that they draw from many. That being said, they often are known to appreciate those who don't see them as monsters.

This is not to say there are not black sheep. There are some who will hide their identity due to shame, or devious plans. There can be some who have conquered their pride, able to brush that overwhelming driving sense of honor away. That being said, one thing can be said for all Lycans- If they lose their temper, they can not prevent themselves from transforming, and may even lash out in a rage.

Lycans often stay together in groups called packs. The strongest Lycan in their pack becomes their ruler and is known as the Alpha. There are all sorts of packs over the world. Some hide their presence and others operate a bit more openly. Lycans that don't belong to a pack are called Loners and are often shunned by other Lycans unless they have proven themselves to be strong and respectable.


  • User must have completed the following quests: New Moon, Darkhowl Forest, The Pack, Crescent Moon, Fangs and Foes, Blood On The Walls, Gibbous Moon, Oath of Lycans, The Lycan King and Full Moon.


Lycans can transform their body into a larger, more muscular, and overall more wolf-like appearance. In this state, their powers are dramatically enhanced. Their base statistics increase by 40% while being transformed. It costs 5% of the user's total mana per turn and has a 4 post cooldown after deactivating it.
Lycans may be ferocious and strong warriors but they really dislike flames. Lycans can never use Fire-type moves. Most stronger Lycans don't flinch when facing fire but still suffer the consequences. They take extra damage from Fire-type moves which are increased by two ranks.
Lycans have a great smell and can smell anyone within a 25 meter radius. Even if targets try to mask their smell a Lycan can distinguish between thousands of smells to still find their target within that range.
ENHANCED ENDURANCE: Lycans are able to withstand impacts strong enough to destroy buildings. What would take down humans instantly merely hurts them. They receive a 20% endurance bonus of their base endurance on top of their base endurance. This stacks with the Lycan transformation.
Lycans possess a lot of strength compared to humans. Even without transforming they are considerably stronger than most that face them. They receive a 20% strength bonus of their base strength on top of their base strength. This stacks with the Lycan transformation.
When it comes to speed, Lycans move a lot faster than most humans. Lycans often easily catch up with their prey if they stalk them long enough. They receive a 20% speed bonus of their base speed on top of their base speed. This stacks with the Lycan transformation.
